Rooted in the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty, The Swish explores classical femininity not as a trend, but as a way of life shaped by a strong character that leaves a legacy. Through thoughtful essays, cultural commentary, and refined visual storytelling, we offer a countercultural perspective for women who seek a clear and grounded way of life amidst modern confusion.
Named after the onomatopoeia of the classic symbol for a woman, a skirt, The Swish explores Classical Femininity in trends, traditions, and lifestyles, for an elegant, inspired life.

What is Classical Femininity?
Classical Femininity is the preservation and reflection of Truth, goodness and beauty in womanhood, rooted in timeless virtues and traditions.
This is in contrast to contemporary feminism that emphasizes autonomy and subjectivity rather than communial reliance and lasting elegance.

My name is Hannah Brusven.
For too long, I believed that for me to be successful as a 20-something woman, I needed to hustle, grit my teeth, and cherry pick what I could through the trashy, vulgar, politically biased women's media out there.

It wasn’t until I discovered a timeless but powerful tool that has helped me, and many others I’ve shared this with, thrive in my calling.

It's a powerful, age-old tool called Classical Femininity, and I'm thrilled to have you here and joining me on the journey where we highlight elegance in our magazine and media publications, presenting cultural coverage, royal commentary and more that brings us joy.

To keep the lights on here, we run advertisements: mostly the display ads you see in our sidebars, and from time to time we work with brands and non-profits to create editorial content that is relevant to our readers and fits in with the advertising company's goals. We also sometimes use affiliate links, so when you make a purchase, The Swish gets some of the funds. We strive to work with brands that fit in with our overall vision of embracing Classical Femininity, and these brands input is limited to the content that we produce with them, so it won't affect the other articles we produce. We will always be upfront with readers when we work with a brand to publish content, but since our editors produce the articles, it's still stuff we love and stand behind recommending.
